Ranked versus Practice

Each game or tournament can be either Ranked or Practice. Check the game's settings to see which it is.

Practice games do not award achievements or points, and the results of practice games will not show up under the "Ranked Games" section on profiles.

Practice games are ideal for new players or for testing new game settings. One should not put too much emphasis on the ranked game statistics, as they are trivial to manipulate. For a much better measure of how skilled a player is, check their Ladder rank.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) cannot be Included in any ranked games.

Any games with uneven teams are always practice games.
