Territory Selection
Turn 0
The Impaller received his 1-2-3 territory selections, whereas the world received their 2-3-4. This meant that the world knew that The Impaller started in Mexico.
Both players elected to try for a ~50% chance at a bonus on the first turn - the world for Antarctica and The Impaller tried Central America.
Turn 1
The world took Antarctica on the first turn, whereas The Impaller failed to take Central America on the first turn. This gave the world an early income advantage.
The world, having occupied Colombia, could see that Panama had been attacked on the previous turn. However, The Impaller could not see that the world could see this, and therefore the world chose to take advantage of this by attacking Panama with 6 armies.
