Yes - they're a sovereign country, whether we like it or not.

If you manage to gain independence from America, I'll recognise you - but you better not be paying American taxes nor following American law.

ISIS is a country.
I don't support them but they do deserve that much, they have done much more than the Taliban ever did.

Again. It was the UNOCAL pipeline. And apart from that they knew they f***** Afghanistan and made a demon . (radicalization of the Afghan people in the late seventies(which was a response to the pro-soviet government in Afghanistan))

Eklipse always needs to show up to defend US, and anyone that critizes US is just a US hater and hates freedom.

Ottoman always needs to show up to attack US, and anyone that calls him out on it is just a puppet and brainwashed by propaganda.

(By the way Ottoman, maybe if you'd actually make posts that weren't oozing with hatred of the U.S and made constructive comments regarding the situation I wouldn't say anything)

Why bother making constructive comments if it won't change a thing?

He can tell you to revolt, but he'd probably be under CIA watch, then.

If constructive comments don't solve anything then you might as well just shut up and not talk about it.

Seriously, what's the point of sitting around complaining about a problem if nobody is going to put forth thoughts on how to make it better?

It's not complaining, it's informing "patriotic" Americans.

You're one of them (though smarter than most).

Informing?
" You've been lied to all your life and your country is a demonic superpower. "

Vs.

" Hey things aren't so hot and the system is struggling in a modernizing world. "

Which is more psychologically sound?

There is no point to being informed if you don't act on it.

It's like telling a common bloke they ww1 involved many countries and dismantled many empires. They will have no practical use for that information.

Hey ; what does everyone think about minimum wage? I think it should be abolished because it's meaningless.

I think the President of the USA is stupid for trying to raise it to the point where a family can live off it. It's not supposed to support a family; that's what a career job is for. Minimum wage is supposed to help you get there in the game of life.

@Genghis

Sadly the first one is true.

@Eklipse

If you don't like what I say about the US you dont have to read it, I dont force you to read it.
I make posts that are not oozing with US hatred.
Advice if you dont want to read posts with hatred against the US you probably shouldn't come on a forum that says opinions on the war on terror.

My opinion on the United States of America:

Population generally- Traits commonly found amongst Americans are loudness, individualism and arrogance. This varies between different peoples, with African Americans being the loudest, White Americans being the most arrogant, with all having acute individualism. Mexican Americans are the fastest growing ethnic group living in the United States of America, which is quite nice since they're more native to America than the other ethnicities.

The economy- Is completely bankrupt, with US$15,940,978 Gross External Debt Position (2013). This is mostly due to America's complete dysfunctional population with a lack of good quality cheap labour in most areas, except in the South which is why the South is growing much quicker than other areas.

The government- Needs changing. It is, in my opinion, too centralised, and needs to grant the individual states more control of law and legislation. The United States of America is a large country, and populations have begun to feel increasingly marginalised, especially in conservative areas.

The culture- Is world-renown for being a figurehead for freedom, and more often historically, a force for good in the world. Nowadays, the respect (and in some cases awe) that people felt towards the United States of America has gradually diminished, so much so that recently in the United Kingdom, where the Americans were never fully appreciated in the first place, the White House is completely ignored.

Military strength- Is not to be underestimated.

Other stuff- Diminishing, but still good. But for how long?
