the "rainbow slash " bane talked about would be a screen that would eb showned while the game was loading, which means half na hour (at least i perceived it as being that long but you know, i was a kid back then).... sometimes it would load for half na hour and give na error at the end
there are few atari games worth getting if youre just starting out with classic games. most are terrible, and a few are only worth a look only as a peroid piece. none are the master classes of gameplay like mega man 3, mario, zelda, ect. the NES is a good place to start because it actually has good games that are worth playing for fun.
