Depends on the poison probably, question is too vague for wikipedia.

Taiwan? Think you're confusing me with someone else, I'm x, I live in London, England. I don't believe in watching films online, there are always more than enough on television, or the cinema. And plenty of cheap DVDs.

There's no Film4 in America, I think Ghibli films are shown on TCM or AMC there, though. & they're all on DVD.

I think I have literally all of them still recorded (except Porco Rosso got deleted), so that's good. Cagliostro and Norse Prince aren't actually Ghibli films, they were made by Miyazaki and Takahata respectively, before the Ghibli studio was founded. I've not seen Norse Prince yet, but Cagliostro is in the vein of Porco Rosso, so I consider it to be pretty much canonical. I'll let you know if I see Totoro on.

Spirited Away is really wonderful. It's so great when all the dust balls drop their pieces of coal intentionally. I only rank it slightly below Totoro etc. because it relies a little too much on the fantasy adventure kind of plot. It does it masterfully, but it doesn't feel quite as personal as the top 4. Did you like Grave of the Fireflies?

"does the rule 'every rule has an exception' have an exception?" ~ Falcon
"Oh ho ho ho, a paradox" ~ X

Thats not a paradox, the answer is yes. There are clearly rules without exceptions.

@dead: i wasn't asking catbus to verify if my statement 'every rule has an exception' was true or false. I wanted him to answer my question ( does the rule 'every rule has an exception' have an exception.) So your point is irrelevant.

Am I missing something? You want him to answer it not me? My point was that the answer to your question was a big fat yes. How could that be irrelevant?

Oh yeah, then the exception would be itself anyway.

Well, it had the cadence of a paradox, and like MC Escher paintings, those things get boring after you look at them for about 5 seconds, so I didn't pay much attention. Yeah, the hand is drawing itself, wow. Why do I ever need to look at this again?

Sorry catbus oi confused you with qi again.
Actually i think i missed grave of the firefly but i can give my opinions on the rest.

Only Yesterday:I did not get this movie much, her life was pretty boring and was the guy she met in the organic farm the one that liked her in school since i missed some bits due to watching the japanese one.Disliked it.

Ocean Waves:Better than only yesterday however the girl that the main protagonist's friend liked seemed a lot like a bitch and was a unlikable character.Meh.

Spirited Away:Amazing movie,i truly recommend it,i watched it in both japanese and english.I loved the whole theme and just about everything.Loved it.

Porco Rosso:Interesting film, despite porco rosso being a pig he was still likeable and is also one of my favourites.Liked it.

Castle of Cagliostro:A great movie but i still wonder if the treasure was so important for the duke why did he need to force the marriage and not just take her ring in the first place.Liked it.

Laputa: Castle in The Sky:Robots, floating castles and tank trains what more could i ask for it also seemed to have that environmental theme in movies like princess mononoke, ponyo,Nausicaä of the Valley of the valley of the wind and pom poko.Liked it.

Cat Returns:For some strange reason i liked this movie and i saw this movie before studio ghibli season so when i saw the statue of the baron in whispers of the heart that was cool.Liked it.

Whispers of the Heart:Out of all the childhood stories that ghibli did this was my favourite,it also gave the idea for a theory that everything that happened in the cat returns was all the stories the girl made about the baron.Liked it.

Kiki's delivery service:I heard totoro made a canon in this one(not as herself but as a object.Good movie and i liked it.

Princess Mononoke:Great environmental message mixed in with the amazing japanese culture i was however disappointed that in the english version they got rid of the line:nasty, nasty(it is said by the leper after hearing Lady Eboshi's plan for Japan).3rd favourite Ghibli movie i also loved it.

Arrietty:Tiny girl, great movie,i was hoping to see more of her tiny world though.

Ponyo:Another environmental theme since ghibli has a message to tell us ,are you taking notes disney.Liked it.

Pom Poko:Saddest ending i think a studio ghibli movie has had also another environmental theme cause studio ghibli just can;t tell us how bad humans are once.Liked it.

Tales from earthsea:Meh.

Howls Moving Castle:I know it's probably not a lot like the book but damn is this movie kickass.@nd favourite ghibli movie.Loved it.

Nausicaa of the valley of the wind:I loved everything about it the conflict in this scarred world, everything. It's the my 3rd favourite ghibli movie with mononoke.

Top 3 ghibli movies
1)Spirited Away
2)Howls Moving Castle
3)Nausicaa of the valley of the wind
3)Princess mononoke

Accidentally clicked on something after I wrote the post. well, I need to watch Moving Castle as people like that one a lot. I also need to rewatch the others as there is quite a lot I don't remember, especially it seems from Only Yesterday.

2. Not really sure what question you're asking, but 20 minutes 55 seconds.

3. The north face was first climbed on July 24, 1938 by Anderl Heckmair, Ludwig Vörg, Heinrich Harrer and Fritz Kasparek in a German–Austrian party. The party had originally consisted of two independent teams: Harrer (who did not have a pair of crampons on the climb) and Kasparek were joined on the face by Heckmair and Vörg, who had started their ascent a day later and had been helped by the fixed rope that the lead team had left across the Hinterstoisser Traverse. The two groups, led by the experienced Heckmair, decided to join their forces and roped together as a single group of four. Heckmair later wrote: "We, the sons of the older Reich, united with our companions from the Eastern Border to march together to victory."[5]

The expedition was constantly threatened by snow avalanches and climbed as quickly as possible between the falls. On the third day a storm broke and the cold was intense. The four men were caught in an avalanche as they climbed "the Spider," the snow-filled cracks radiating from an ice-field on the upper face, but all possessed sufficient strength to resist being swept off the face. The members successfully reached the summit at four o'clock in the afternoon. They were so exhausted that they only just had the strength to descend by the normal route through a raging blizzard.[5]

4. I'm very bored of this now
