It's ok and proper for someone to join the template they are most skilled at. If nobody can compete with them, they deserve a win.
That is not the problem.
They deserve the win, but as result of this process, almost noone plays 2v2s -> it is a dead template.
Even actions which are morally acceptable and follow rules may have negative effects.

While I've never had problems with alternative accounts being allowed (having a few myself in the past) isn't it time to properly ban all alts?
The reasoning here would be using accounts to "spy" on other clans CW slots.
Or maybe make an official alt system, where you have to link in settings all your alts to your main and only 1 account can be in a clan at the same time.

I was wondering why we usually faced Masters in 2v2s, I think I now know why.

Of course there is no way to prove this and people may call me paranoid, but it does raise an issue even if it currently was not the case.
Mind you, this is the same guy who pulled some shady stuff in CL this season, wait for it, yes again in 2v2 so it's not like I'm accusing someone with no rule-breaking history.

If Fizzer wants CW to be truly casual, there is no reason to encourage such a behavior.

the reason you usually face masters in 2v2 is that we like playing it and try to always have a team ready when possible. Most people who play 2v2s face masters most of the time

I know of someone who infiltrated another clan with an alt, gained the trust of the leaders, and kicked 99% of the players to try to get his main's clan ahead. I Don't think all alts should be banned, but serious mesures should be in place to deal with cheaters and such.

If this is confirmed to be true, why wouldn't this player just get outright banned? Clearly this is against all spirits of competition and fair play as listed in the TOS. The terms are pretty vague but they definitely making it clear that taking actions which give you an unfair advantage is against the TOS and thus bannable.

And if people are spying on other clans ... isn't this also cheating? Can't prove it, but if you know who the alts are, easy to fix, just boot them out.

I would like to know which clan this was about, but if its about the recent incident in Excel: Fahrenheit is not playing in CW, so that was not a motive for the incident. On top of that, (as Fizzer or some admin told me) MR should only be given to players you fully trust, so abuse of MR is an issue for the clan owner, and not a violation of the rules.

I think it can be both. It's definitely an issue with the clan owner, but it's also causing an unfair advantage in games. Brushing that off is like saying we're going to let a criminal off of a bank robbery charge because he received a ticket on the getaway car which was illegally parked outside the bank.

MASTERs are very common in CW. Especially in MME Multi-Attack I am either getting a free win, fight a MASTER or fight someone decent like Dom365.
