Many times over the last week the Warlight Overloaded sign is up.

Oh, you're talking about the problems from a few days ago. Yes, I agree the WarLight servers had problems a few days ago. When you first posted, I assumed you were talking about today, since you posted today. I take these kinds of problems very seriously, and I worked on it 24/7 until it was fixed a couple days ago. Nevertheless, I apologize for the problems.

However, this doesn't explain why your ads are having problems, as those were never delivered from WarLight's servers and were not affected by the issues.

I do find it humorous that you come on today and demand a fix to a problem that was fixed two days ago :).

If you're still experiencing the problem today, I again request you run a traceroute and send me the results at fizzer@warlight.net and we can investigate further where it's coming from.

Thanks Fizzer I thought there had been a noticible deterioration a few days ago.

It was happening earlier. 1 min refresh, 1 min to send chat & the 8 sec no ad banner.

This is on the back of a week of issues, as noted above.

Temujin, did you even take Fizzer's advice?

None of the sluggishness you're having issues with relates to the warlight servers. This is caused by something else - possibly your ISP. But Fizzer gave some pretty good advice on fixing this.

Temujin, now is the time to take advice given. Email Fizzer, and if his reply is insufficient go to the forums. I doubt that will be the case though.

Arun, i give respect to those who earn it through word or action. Thus me being critical of you upon joining since you had an overinflated sense of importance and were a general pest. You have improved your forum presence and thus merit respect.

Temujin here is making demands like a child, thinking he is owed something of a free product. He has contributed absolutely nothing to the game or its development... In fact, he has a negative effect on the site given the cost associated with his thousands of games. The man has received literally thousands of hours for absolutely free and yet has the gall to demand superior entertainment? That is the action of a man who has absolutely no respect for the game or its creator and as such merits no respect from me.

Fizzer has put an immense amount of time and effort into this game.

Any of you feel you can do a better job just link the address to your site when you're done.

I have seen various sites encounter technical problems over the years. Warlight is no exception and as Fizzer pointed out he has dealt with these issues. Rather than whining like children we should be very grateful for the efforts Fizzer puts in.

Temujin has a point, Sharpe's comment on the "our" thing was pretty stupid and his language was a bit brutal. As for the Temujin's ads issues...just buy a membership dude

The ads themselves aren't the problem. The problem is when the ads glitch out for whatever reason and Warlight shoves the "Failed to display advertisement" message in your face and locks you out of 10 seconds.

It's also unfair how Warlight can't distinguish between Adblocker and the number of other things that can cause ads to fail. Some people just have slow internet, which can make ads not load very often, that's not their fault and they shouldn't be punished for it.

If you can't be thankful for all Fizzer has done, and is still doing then you should just shut up and leave the site (especially if you're like me with no membership).Rather than complain and whine and say stuff like, "WarLight sort yourself out," and rather than make demands from Fizzer, use the report bug feature and help Fizzer fix the problem (if there is one) or allow him to tell you what the problem is.
