I guess it is time for me to chime in. Disrespect only motivates me. With all due respect to all of the other great players and competitors, and there are many, I have been the best player on the standard map in 2020. I'll just post ladder stats.
There are players that make great runs...20, or 25 games, and have a good rating in the beginning. I think that 20 matches is too few to rate, and raising that bar to 25 would fix a lot of problems with people have too high a rating too soon.
I have completed 76 matches. 69 wins and 7 losses for a 90 % winning perc. I have been number 1 almost the entire time with a rating between 2350 and 2450. But for those who think I "hardcore picked opps", lets analyze.
Who are the best ladder players? Pardon, AI, Octane? Played them all, beat them all (3-0). My lifetime ladder record against these three great players is 8 wins, 3 losses. Lets add in: Edge, ACLTears, Adreso, BZox, Kerekgyarto Zoltan, Summer, Hades, ADHDnl, Mr. Glass. I think these are the other players currently in or previously in the top 10 that I played against. I had 6 wins and 2 losses. So my record in these 76 matches against current or past top 10 players is 9 wins, 2 losses. In fact, more of my 7 losses were against lower rated players.
It's not even a question if I have been the most consistently dominant ladder player in 2020, but in history, not many other players have made this sustained of a run over this many games, at this rating. So disrespect all you want, stats speak for themselves.
