Quick question...

Top 8 teams in each tournament advance, right? So how does that fit with the fact that it's double elimination? You could have a team which was not in the top eight spots in the winners bracket end up winning the tournament, and if that happens, who moves forward?

There are 4 tournaments, so top 8 i assume is winner + runner up from each

and then anyone who wins 2 games in round II will proceed to round III, regardless of who the overall winner is

Every single team will end up in the Loser's bracket at some point. The top two teams will obviously be the ones from the finals.

It'll be the last 8 teams eliminated from each of the tournaments.

nevermind, I didn't read well. I signed in for one of the four tournaments. There is a player who has signed up for more than 1 tournament. That is John. How dare you to go against your own rules ;)

Rule 1: ONLY SIGN UP FOR ONE TOURNAMENT. You will forfeit your prize if you sign up for more than one of the four first round tournaments. (I signed up for all 4 just to track them, and yes, I'll forfeit my free membership if I win. Please, noone else sign up for more than one slot!)

We actually have a few knuckleheads that signed up for all of them. in One tournament, the knuckleheads managed to end up on the same team, and on two others, I was able to join their team, to ensure that they lose!

Its bad enough that they are hogging spots, but would be even worse if they accidently knocked someone out of the running.

Rule 6: Veto Power. You can't win the prize if you're on my blacklist!

John, I don't think anyone who's so inclined to go against your rules will advance very far. I wouldn't be too worried.

Besides, even if malefactors do get into a top slot, you can just give their spot in the next tournament to the team that they beat to enter the top 8.

Bumping it up a bit, about 100 more spots available, two tournaments have about 15 spots left.
