I entered the game thinking Team A has a player in their 40's and we have a 52 so we should be on pretty level playing fields. As I read into his profiles I came to realize I was not playing an even game and that actually he was playing as 3. Which is why I asked him but hardly got a response until well into the game. At that point no amount of communication would have probably swung the game in our favor. It just tasted bad for my entire team.

Anyways I really think multi accounts in real time games should have some kind of note on it or respond in the first round or two

Levels don't matter. You'd be surprised how many level 60+ players never learn basic 1v1 skills. ^_^

No it doesn’t seem like the ethics committee will be on my side. I came to understand it wasn’t against the rules but I got frustrated at the lack of transparency

Playing as 1 player in a 3v3 is definitely a disadvantage imo. Maybe less so in RT, but definitely in MD 3v3 it's a disadvantage.

At the end of the day with these real-time games, It's your responsibility to know who your playing against and that the set up makes it a fair game between yourself and the enemy your playing against. Cakes didn't do this, atleast not until halfway of the game, than proceeded to stall like a petulant child because he decided to feel cheated instead of realising he was a nonce for not checking the settings of the game. The game rules can only protect you so far, It can't protect you in this case because theoritically 3 highly skilled players can join or 2 alts with a skilled player puppeting can happen making the game theoritcally fair.

Side point: If you want to learn 3v3 EU, I would recommend analysing Clan League/3v3 Ladder games or linking distributions to the Discord chats, It's more beneficial to learning than playing against 3 open game players who will likely have no understanding about the template.
