Thank you for the support ^-^

the delmerva peninsula I'm glad you've noticed it Clint. It's such a small detail it's barely noticeable.

also. I'm here with another question. Should I reconsider renaming certain provinces ? And is it better to write the regions in their native language respectively or write them in their English translated form. For example Rhineland-Palatinate becomes Rheinland Pfalz and Calcutta becomes Kolkata? This method has already been applied to Kazakhstani names.

^ I agree. It could potentially make the map better, but it would take quite a while. I say go for it, but keep it low priority.

I don't expect this to take a long time. Since all I gotta do is translate. Also naming things goes fairly quick. It's just a name after all. Let's say I'm only going to change names where the latin alphabet is used AND where English is not spoken. That leaves a giant chunk of countries (like China,USA,Russia whole arabic world,...) and furthermore all names named after places are written in their native latin alphabet ALREADY. We can conclude that these translations will only go for regional names only. Funny thing all these regions are to be found in Europe because English is an European language after all and like any European language it has various names for regions. and there are a few (less than 50 to be generous) in this map. It's really that easy.

But then again it'll get controversial since not all native names are accepted. For example Flanders will stay Flanders and not Vlaanderen

If i may suggest (it may be too late) I think that for North Africa you should try to go for smoother territories along the coast because those are generally to population centers. Not to mention if a scenario maker wants to block off the Sahara they would be able to do it without it looking raggedy. Especially in Libya. I also LOVE what you did for Germany Poland Transylvania Odessa China and Greece.

Although I just noticed that Kaliningrad and masuria don't match up well like they did in the last map.

Thanks for your appreciation <3

No it's never too late to change the shapes of the regions. I'll look into Algeria and Libya and see what I can do to and alter some territories at the coastline. Thanks.

Furthermore about Prussia, sure Masuria and Kaliningrad don't match well but their shape have been the same during history and therefore they are important for historical scenarios.

I'm currently busy developing a naval network instead of connection lines across the oceans. Tell me what you think about it. Do you support it (or not) and why?

Seeing your work on making a historical border between Germany and Poland, it looks very fantastic, although I think a few more provinces could be in order in the Hrodna territory showing Bezirk Bialystok, a territory annexed by Germany during Operation Barbarossa. Could you do the same with between the Munich Agreement, specifically making a border to recreate the Sudetenland in 1938?

Also, I would like to see more bonuses with regions of Italy reflecting this map:

Final note:
With your naval network system, I fully support this since I am the original creator of the Victoria warlight scenario. This makes it very useful for quick transport of armies across oceans and as well as making "colonizing" continents much more beneficial.
One thing I would like to see is if you make use the naval network a fit for combat, recreating naval battles.

Thanks for your feedback. Judging on the results of the poll it looks like the sea network is here to stay. Which is a good thing since I support it too. Anyway about your suggestions. Splitting the Hrodna territory in 2 to create a special Bezirk Bialystok territory results in Belarus looking awful and dense so I'm not in favor of that. I'm in favor however in creating Sudetenland and making bonusses reflect history more.

There's a lot more warlord eras but the ones that I would find the most important are the 1914-39 warlords and Cliques; though I know there's better maps for It I'm not sure where to look

thanks 😊 Well I hope it does represent the historic chinese kingdoms more or less. It is certainly better than the old diplomacy map where territories looked even worse and cities like Shanghai got geograhpically displaced 800km further. To be quite frank about it I've redrawn entire China from the old map and I'm not keem to change a lot unless it's something very important. During the time I was redrawing China I only took care of historically representing the kingdom of Tibet during its biggest extent and during the Warlord era, and East Turkestan. Because they were independent countries. I'm sorry I did little effort in representing the warren states and three kingdoms.

The warlords era however is something entirely different. Warlords boundaries change over the course of the civil war and their borders are also very disputed regarding to which source you got your information from. So it's indefinite.
