So for A:
1. Masters, with timi, and 2 templates they created themselves, I think they have a slight edge. Very strong 1v1 lineup to compete with turtles.
2. Lynx, I think some sturdy players and a couple new faces, will be interesting to see how the new players hold up, if they do ok, I think Lynx can win the league.
3. Turtles, Team games look weak once again, but 1v1's even more OP than before.
4. French, A fairly balanced line up, I think French will keep somewhere in the middle
5. Outlaws, Some decent heavyweights such as Krz and Nynwhen, clearly they've worked hard on 1v1's, I think teams look ok too. These guys are the dark horse I think. They could definitely compete with French
6. ONE have really decent teams, but I think the 1v1's will let them down
7. Blitz I don't think have a line-up that will keep them in A to be honest

For B:
1. GG
2. MH
3. VS
4. WG
5. SNinja
6. VIW
7. BIA

Q1:
1. Hydra
2. Acme
3. FCC
4. Poon
5. FBG
6. Olympus

Q2:
1. CORP
2. 7th
3. LuFredd
4. GW
5. Dutch
6. PG

Q3:
1. 101st
2. Apprentice
3. Stats
4. TJC

A:

1. Lynx
2. Masters
3. French
4. Turtles
5. Blitz
6. ONE!
7. Outlaws

I know that you guys like Masters a lot here, with Timminator joining them, however, I am seeing deja vu right now. The terms "young roster" and "new blood" are once again being applied to lynx. Lynx has cards up their sleeve, and I would not be surprised to see them repeat.

French is a stalwart in A, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. They play the same players, league after league. Expect them to continue to remain steady/ slowly rise.

Turtles is an interesting choice for fourth, really. Buns, Nackickwind, and USA biches will certainly pull their weight. But beyond that, I question their relative depth.

Blitz has a sneaky strong roster- but only just sneaky enough to avoid relegation.

I question ONE!'s depth, tbh. I don't see them doing strongly.

You guys are all across the board with how Outlaws will do this season. You treat them as an enigma. I am not hot on their "dark-horsedness" as so many others are. From my experience, the fact that they vary so widely in outlook purports to be a bad sign to me.

B:

1. GG
2. WG
3. VS
4. M'Hunters
5. Sninja
6. BIA
7. VIW

GG is probably feeling the burn from being in B about now. Don't expect them to take this battle lightly.

WG has new blood in it in almosttriky and smileyleg. I expect them to promote with GG

VS is a close third.

M'Hunters rounds out the top four. I don't see them having the depth of the other three.

Sninja seems sucked dry of its players.

BIA and VIW speak for themselves.

Q1

1. Hydra
2. FCC
3. ACME
4. Olympus
5. FBG
6. Poon Squad

Hydra definitely has the edge over my own clan here. Their roster is simply better than ours in round one. Don't expect this to be an easy battle, as FCC and ACME will both give them a run for it.

ACME has the best individual player in ACL Tears, who plays twice here. Could monopolize the Strat ME and 2v2 Gui, securing a hefty 35 in those games. However, their depth is questionable, and I see FCC beating them out... barely.

Olympus is the best of the rest. They may be a ghost of themselves, but even so, they should finish in the middle.

FBG and Poon Squad really do not have much of a chance here.

Q2
1. 7th Heaven
2. Pruben Grade
3. CORP
4. LuFredd
5. German Warlords
6. Dutch

7th is the easy favorites. They will roll the group

The second promotion spot will be between Pruben Grade and CORP. I feel Pruben Grade is very underrated, as they keep to themselves and are building in the background. They reached their 44 player cap about a week ago, so they definitely have been building. CORP has the players, but Pruben has the depth to do damage.

LuFreddd, returning after its absence in CL7, seem dry to me. Their seriousness will lead them to fourth, however.

German warlords is an enigma, but the other rosters seem stronger.

Dutch doesen't seem to have the players nor the depth to me.

Q3
1. Apprentice
2. 101st
3. Statisticians
4. TJC
5. DWF
6. Hawks

The training clans 101st and Apprentice will have to prove themselves in a feisty division that could go any plethora of directions. I think they will.

Statisticians carry good players, but their depth really kills them in the end.

TJC is pretty much a ghost. Although Xeno and Rikku are playing via alts... which could be interesting.

DWF has huge depth problems, but the could dominate locally wherever fireice plays.

Hawks doesen't seem like it will do much in a loaded division.

C:

1. 7th Heaven
2. FCC
3. Hydra
4. Apprentice
5. 101st
6. Pruben Grade

7th, with the old !#Elite group in tow, will definitely show everyone what they are made of.

An interesting note by Ben about when he basically says that we have pretty much focused our depth on round 1. A little hint for you all, but I feel that our round two roster is actually better than our round one roster. To the point where I feel it could be stronger than even Hydra's roster (whatever it may be). I really can't wait for this round personally, because of this:

2v2 Final Earth: [FCC] Aura Guardian and Super Smoove

A blast to the past for me. I can't wait, because it hearkens back to some of my favorite times as an aspiring strategy player.

Apprentice and 101st are going to give the top three everything they can handle, but I just see 7th, Hydra, and FCC as simply better.

Pruben Grade, my darkhorse pick, may be able to get out of a weak division, but won't stand up against the heat of a strong one.

DIV A (mostly inspired by CL8 results tbh):

1. Masters
2. Lynx
3. Turtles
4. Outlaws
5. French clan
6. Blizt
7. ONE!

All the clans of division A are very good this clan league (it was the same in cl8 too though).

1, Masters finished 2nd in CL8 and they added even more talent to their roster with Timinator. I see them as being possibly the best division A clan for 1v1, and they are very good in team games with possibly the best team player of WL (currently) in MOTD. They need to not get boots though as boots might have cost them first place in the last CL (pure speculations though).

2. Lynx have strong 1v1 players (Hades, GreenTea, Arkanton, Dom, Andy, etc.) and might be even better in team games (possibly the best in division A). I think they will probably still be challenging for the first spot and they are a force to be reckoned with.

3, Turtles finished 3rd last season and I think they will probably stay around that. They have one of the best 1v1 player of WL (Buns) and their guys can compete very well in either 1v1s and team games also.

4. Outlaws finished 1st of division B of CL8 and they added more depth to their roster with acquisitions like Krzy, Nynwhen, Zarasthrousta, Edge, etc. Their 1v1 has improved compared to last season in my opinion and their team games are very solid still. I think they could even aim to get 3rd spot from Turtles if they collect enough points in team games in particular. Team games might still be the biggest strength of Outlaws.

5. FC has a lot of good players (Wazz, Phaeril, Niko, Alecto, etc.). They were on top of division A in CL7 with Apex and hold their own last season in division A with a 4th place. They take clan league very seriously and they will do very well I think. I have put them in 5th, but I could see them going as high as 3rd place.

6. Blizt was in division A in CL7 but dropped to B in season 8 not because they aren't good but because of the extremely high competition in A. They have very good established players like KKND, linberson, waka and new players (to their clan) like Chris and Xenophon that have good to great skills. They finished 2nd in Division B of last season (CL8) and were the most balanced team in division B (1v1s and team games). I have put them on 6th but in all honesty, I feel positions 4 to 7 will be hardly contested so they can end up being higher than I expect them to be.

7. ONE! finished 3rd last season (CL8) after Outlaws and Blizt. 1v1s was their strongest aspect, but team games weren't so good overall. They have some good players like Muli, Beren, Don, Mifran's alt, Pardon, malakkan, but I feel they will come short compared to the other clans. I think they will be able to get some points in 1v1s but team games might be harder for them and there are a lot of points to get from team games. We need a 7th place so I go with ONE! but like I said before, I feel that 3rd to 7th places will be heavily disputed and boots might play a big factor in who ends up where.

DIV B

1. GG
2. MH
3. WG
4. VS
5. Sninja
6. BIA
7. VIW

1. GG has been relegated from division A and I think they will put their best roster out there to redeem themselves. They have mostly a division A line-up in my opinion, in particular in 1v1s. Their team games might do a bit less good than their powerful 1v1, but in the end, I expect GG to not have a lot of trouble promoting back to A.

2. MH has promoted from C last season and they dominated their division for the most part. Emu Pub and 902 are very good team players, while everyone in their 1v1 can compete at a high level. I feel they might slighty do better in team games than in 1v1 but overall, they will be very balanced I predict.

3. WG has been relegated from A but they have plenty of good players. They might do better in 1v1s, but I feel they will give overall a great performance. They will push MH to play at their best in order to finish ahead of them, but I could see WG finishing 2nd too.

4. VS's biggest strength is their team games in my opinion. Glamourous and Inside will be able to carry their respective 3v3 to very good successes. I feel they will do well in 2v2s too but their weakest point is possibly 1v1s. I feel they might have troubles there competing consistently with top GG, MH and WG players. Hence, 4th place for them, even though I wish them all the best!

5. Sninja finished around 5th last season and I don't expect them to do much better. Are they good? Yes. Good enough to promote to A? I don't think so. Rakleader is great and they have decent players but I feel it won't be enough to compete well in this division B that is so stacked.

6. BIA is coming from division C because some clans in B dropped-out. I think they have decent players like Robert Lee, Botanator, etc. but it just won't be enough to be much more than 5th place. I see Sninja has being a bit better than them so I have put them in 6th place.

7. VIW finished in 4th place last season in division B after a great start. They had AG though and Metatron to carry them to successes in 1v1s, which they will have not this time around. Their team games wasn't so good due to boots and also not being able to compete well enough with other top clans. They lost some other players too like Nogals and it feels like it will be very hard for them to be able to stay alive in this tough division B.

DIV C

Ok so division C is like division Clusterfuck. 18 clans starting on stage 1, only 6 going to stage 2 where it matters and only 2 out of theses 6 to promote to B. So let's see who should go on top.

Stage 1

Q1

To go to stage 2: Hydra, FCC or ACME
Not going to stage 2: Poonsquad, FBG, Olympus

I am subjective here, but I feel Hydra is the most balanced clan out of theses 6 clans. Our 1v1 might not be as strong as FCC, but I feel our team games will be stronger than them and will be able to give us 1st or 2nd place of that group. FCC's 1v1 is very good with Pardon's alt playing 2 1v1 and Nauz playing Old Strat ME, but I feel their team games are less strong than Hydra's. ACME have probably the best 1v1 player of that group in ACL Tears and they are decent players. Hence, this group will be a 3-way battle to get 2 spots to stage 2. The other 3 clans can barely compete imo against Hydra, FCC and ACME's line-ups. Boots could be a decisive factor determining who will get on top with so few games.

Q2
To go to stage 2: 7th Heaven, CORP
Not going to stage 2: Preußen Garde, Germans, LuFredd, Dutch

For me, this group will be easy to win for 7th Heaven and CORP. I fully expect 7th Heaven to own this group, particularly in team games. I also think that Tjoex and Thanatos of CORP will give great performances on their respective templates. The other clans can't compete in my opinion with 7th Heaven in particular.

Q3
To go to stage 2: Apprentices, 101st
Not going to stage 2: Statisticians, DWF, TJC, Hawks

Ok, this group is way more balanced in terms of skills compared to the 2 others. Apprentices, Statisticians, Divided we fall, TJC, 101st...The only clan that won't be able to achieve anything will be Hawks (sorry guys, too much competition in this group). I feel Apprentices have the most balanced line-up in this group, so I will say they will go to stage 2. I think 101st will go to stage 2, given the fact that they also seem to have a more balanced line-up compared to the other clans there. I really wonder why DWF don't use their best player fireice82 in more than 1 template here. I can understand they want to give him 2 on stage 2, but it seems risky not using him more to make sure they get to stage 2. The same can be said about Math Wolf and Jackie Treehorn, both used only once each for Statisticians. Juggernauts will compete hard but I feel that they will fall just short of going to stage 2. Anyways, this will be the most exciting group of stage 1 division C in my opinion, but also the most cruel.

Stage 2 division C

Clans that will probably be there: Hydra, FCC, 7th Heaven, CORP, Apprentices, 101st

1. 7th Heaven
2. Hydra
3. FCC
4. CORP
5. Apprentices
6. 101st

This is when it gets wild.

1. 7th Heaven will promote to B I think. Cloud, Rambo and Belzebu have taken the 1st place on EU at some point and I think they will be hard to stop there. 7th Heaven are solid in 1v1s but they are even better imo in team games and that is where I think they might do the most damage. The only concern I have with 7th Heaven is the limited number of players they have. They are only 9 I think in that clan (as it is for now) and some are alts of players like Rambo and Belzebu. Anyways, they are very skilled and deserve to be in division B.

2. Hydra. Ok, I am representing that clan so I am not 100% objective here. I feel that with established players like Hunta, GreatExpense, GreenTurtle, Milly, ppface, Python's Koala and myself, we will be able to gather just enough points to get to B. I feel that our 1v1 and team games will be quite balanced and I don't see us having spots where we will be weak. We'll probably won't sweep any tournaments neither but I feel we'll do good everywhere, slightly promoting over clans like FCC, CORP and Apprentices.

3. FCC will have used Nauz and Pardon 2 times each, arguably the 2 best players of their roster, but they will have a great 3v3 EU player to carry them there. Supergamerz, Aura, Pardon, Smoove, Nauz, etc. will give a very strong competition to the other clans but I feel they will be just short of promoting to B.

4. CORP's 2 best players are probably Thanatos and Tjoex. I feel their team games will be well supported by Thanatos while 2 of their 1v1s will probably be handled quite well by Tjoex. They will provide a great challenge to everyone but I think they will miss promotion by a few points.

5. Apprentices are not using some of their best players to the maximum they could use them I think. Scrooge for example should be used more in my opinion. I feel they want to give a good clan league experience to everyone instead of trying to win it and it might be their downfall. I feel they are very talented and will do well but they will not promote to B I think unless they put out-there their best possible line-up.

6. 101st will be competitive but I feel they won't have enough this season to promote to B. Lynx reconstructed 101st well after that schism with Outlaws and that is why I think they will make it to stage 2 but not promote.

@Beniot

I tutor 101st and so want them to do well. It's hard for me to predict when I know little about the other clans.

Given what I know I think Hydra is the strongest and are favorites to top Q2. I know little about 7th Heaven.

I haven't yet discounted 101st having a real chance of promoting to B as our lineup is spearheaded by Krunx and Illya.

Krunx is on a 16 game win streak on the 1v1 ladder and counting, and has a good chance of ranking top 10.

While Illya would be rated top 10 on 1v1 ladder if it wasn't for boots (best is 14th) and she will be an unpleasant surprise for her opponents.

Hydra's best players are a tad better and your lineup has stronger depth, but I would think 101st has underperformed if we fail to qualify or come lower than mid place in Q2.

Masters has undeniably the best roster on paper with huge talent pools. Lets see if their performance can match their expectations.

Lynx should be able to grab 2nd without much competition. Their roster is filled with solid members all about and can possibly grab 1st.

Turtles has one of the best 1v1 players set to play 1v1. Their teamplays will be lacking like last season but their 1v1s should not surprise anyone.

One! Will be 4th guys! Yes you heard me. They will surprise everyone and come in 4th. Beren with the team should be able to come in 4th if they do everything properly.

Outlaws 5th with a decent roster. And showed last year in B that they can play a team game and 1v1s as well. A will be different than B but they slightly improved their roster and should hold the last spot.

Followed by Blitz and French, whom I don't believe will hold well in cl9. But we shall see.

4. WG
4. MH
4. Vs

6. Viw
7. Bia

GG will probably finish first.

The race for 2nd will be tight with wg mh and vs. Hard to predict who will take 2nd.

5th will be sninja who rakleader will have to try and carry.

6th Will be Viw who had ag carry them last split along with metatron who are both gone.

7th Will be bia sadly they will be last.
