As long as he doesn't play for any other clan the same season, yes.

You cannot have a player who is not IN your clan represent you in the Clan League. By this, we mean that the player must be listed on your clan page on the date of the roster submission deadline.

But does that only apply to main accounts? Or can you have any one of their accounts in your official clan roster by the deadline?

You have to have the account you use in the clan league, in the clan.

I assume this is not a typo and the number of 2v2 is indeed supposed to be different in the two stages so the total number of tournaments is equal to the number for A and B? But doesn't that make stage 1 a little light on the team games (giving equal points in total for 1v1 and team games)?

Yes. We reduced the 2v2s in Stage 1 to ensure we have similar number of games played to A and B.

It is important to ensure Stage 1 finishes in a reasonable amount of time, as Stage 2 cannot begin until then.It does make Stage 1 a bit lighter, but considering that team games are the biggest bottleneck, it was necessary.
