It's all money in your pocket, no matter where it came from. The bathroom issue is another one I disagree about. It's more men in women's bathrooms that scares me. It is so much easier for rapists and pedophiles to have access to girls.

LGB I see as similar. I'm gay, I enjoy it and I think people and superstitions which have a problem with it are a poison to humanity. All those flashy conservatives who think LGB is wrong because it doesn't fit with something a bunch of shepherds wrote 2000 or 1400 years ago, so? To me, that's about the least convincing reason in the world. Like I'm ever gonna think of "changing my life", even if I could, because of that. To rational people, it's just another example of how much better the world would be without such primitive superstitions, and weakens the case for them.

Trans, I feel I don't have a good understanding of, but if I would look for a better understanding of it, I would listen to trans people themselves, and not the usual negative comments on them from conservative people who have never done anything to understand their situation and think they know everything about all the people who are different from themselves. That is sadly typical when people get their morality from a very old book and don't bother to ever look up at reality. If some trans people feel they could live a happier life by e.g. wearing clothes that go against some social norms, go ahead.

a) I don't have that power; but I do have the power to downvote noisy comments. If more people did the same (it's extremely non-difficult), the quality of the forums would improve dramatically. b) I don't agree anyway. Especially when there already exists a much less blunt tool: the existing voting system. But attempting to completely silence those you oppose is almost always the wrong strategy. It can lead to a much worse situation than it is intended to fix.
