Downvoted obnoxious comment telling us how they voted.
Seriously. We don't give a shit. Your spam is just as bad as the shit you're encouraging everyone to downvote. Upvote or downvote as you wish - silently. We don't need to know every time you deem something "unworthy".
People have to "try" to get over 50% winrates? I thought trying was what you did when you wanted 95%, y'know, instead of 85-90% when you just don't give a fuck.
^If half of us have <50% then half of us have >50%. If you are top 5%, but play top 1% maybe your win rate is 10%. For exsample #1 of the ladder has 55% win rate...
You're just salty that you only have a 66% winrate. :P
And I have no idea what top 5% is like, Top 5% of the ladder is rank 15-20, I'm definitely better than that, and the ladder players are on average better than the games average, so top 5% overall is probably actually quite bad, like probably akin to a 1600-1700 rating or something. If 1600-1700 is accurate for being top 5%, then I don't think they beat the top 1% anywhere near 10%, unless top 1% is only 1800-1900 rating, then maybe they do.
Actually I didn't tell the full story. Most of the games I lost were before I had a proper strategy to counter triple picks. I worked out how to do it, and my winrate is increasing. However, autogames no longer challenge me, so I might join a strat clan soon.
You've won 20 1v1's ever. Autogames definitely "challenge" you still.
People can continue to learn from autogames till they know all the basics. Hint: I don't believe most people on the ladder who are rated 1900 know all the basics. The basics aren't what separate people rated 1200 from those rated 1600. Mastery of the basics in my eyes separates the 1%'ers from everyone else. Everyone else still has things they can learn from autogames.
There's also not "a way" to beat triple picks. It depends on the map, it depends on the triple pick. I guarantee you if I triple picked I could beat you. I have beaten several top players with triple picks, especially Boston Triple and West China triple picks, less frequently Africa triple picks as well. They work well at times, especially if they are unexpected. If you do it every game it's predictable and easily countered, if you do it 1 in every 20-100 games, it's far more surprising and dangerous.
