I'm not sure how you can make an argument that Republican voters are any sort of minority in the US; Currently Republicans make up majorities in the house of Representatives AND the Senate AND Have control of 31 State legislatures, while Democrats only Control 11. There are 32 states with republican governors, and only 17 with Democratic governors.

Historically, there have been 18 republican presidents, and only 15 Democrat ones, Despite the fact that the Democrat party is older by 26 Years.

Yes, but we're talking Republican Voters here, not Just Actual Republicans, who by the way only make up about 8% of the total population(there are around 30 million members of the Republican party).

My point is that your figure of 10% for people who would get pissed off is way off base; The real numbers is closer to 20% at this time, and When trump wins the Nomination, which He likely will, That number is A majority of americans who are republican voters.

America is a republic when considering it as a whole. At the local level you can make a case it is a democracy because matters are decided by town hall meetings and ballot referendums/initiatives. That's why conservatives trumpet the notion of a state-based or locality-based government instead of a large federal government, because it brings America closer to a notion of a pure-Democracy.

Islam is the only religion that is responsible for mass shootings and bombings on a regular basis. People from other religions can be criminals, but almost never will you hear them do it in the name of their religion. We don't have a Christian/Buddhist/Hindu/Jewish version of ISIS do we?

Trump is completely justified in his position to ban all Muslims from the USA. In fact, I think he's being soft on them.
