Wow, you're right. I think Math Wolf wins the "hardest initial opponents" competition. And he got 5 games to start.

Though I think that will actually help him in this season, since he plays so slowly. He often has a hard time getting good matchups even if he wins games. This way, if he wins most of his games he'll vault up the standings quickly, and if he loses, the losses won't happen for a while, at which point most of those players should have good ratings already, so the loss won't hurt him too much.

@Beren or anyone ...interesting perspective on Math Wolf which prompts me to inquire re an opponents rating. When your game concludes is the opponents rating when game initiated OR your opponents current rating used? I suspect the latter but that also seems inappropriate.

it's exactly the same algorithm as on the 1vs1 ladder. your opponents Rating influences your Rating even in the end. the only difference ratingwise to the 1vs1 ladder is, that you get always when you get a new game, 40 extra Points. that discourages runs on the seasonal ladder on the last few days

Anyone else experiencing really long periods between new games starting? I finished 1 game 5 days ago and 2 others 3 days ago but no new games have been started for me yet.

Sorry alex you must be wrong. There are all 3 days a new game created and you have 6 games. That's absolutely normal. Next game is coming in about 1 day.

It's not like the other ladders where you get another game once you've finished your current one. You get a new game every 3 days, regardless of when (or whether) you finish your games.

Gonna be such a good season.

Has anyone else enjoyed watching games in progress. With Light Fog you can see the income for each game while it is still in progress. It should be interesting as we move on. Every seasonal season we have 10+ players that play super slow and never finish games. Now everyone will know if they are stalling or playing in a tight game prior to the finish. I am sure this will incorporate some gamesmanship. Nice twist Fizzer!

I am still in there i think. First time playing the map, but it is a fun template. I do wish the bonus lines were offset, that color overlap is annoying

yeah i noticed that too. that can cause some confusion in the first games.
