I come from an extremely poor family.

and don't get me started on felons. i don't know if this is nationwide or just in my state, but felons can't vote in indiana, for the rest of their lives. there is no way to ever completely pay for your crime. to me that is a cruel and unusual punishment and thus unconstitutional.

And several of my family members are felons.

Both are on disability.

To an extent- yes.

Although I'd prefer my parents being able to vote, you can't have an unfair system like that, and I believe it would be better with poorer people not voting.

my parents were poor too. im poor. all my friends and most of my family are poor. i don't think poor people, especially ones that work, should be as poor as they are. and i don't think the rich should be allowed to live anymore.

The US hasn't had more than a 60% voter turnout for a presidential election since 1968; And I can say almost with absolute confidence that the 40% not voting are poor people.
