Yeah that sounds good.

I can't think of any more ideas. If all of my ideas were implanted I would definitely buy membership. We should have a poll where you can vote on all of the suggestions made thus far.

@Speck maybe you can choose one of like 50 availible icons? Kind of like North Korean men can have one of 8 haircuts :P. Custom icons might take up too much space is probably correct.

I don't like the idea of stealing a name, but it would be cool if you could basically 'retire' your name. Basically no user could make a name that has the same characters in it (in order, not case sensitive). So like Chriscmu1042 would not be allowed. Or ihatechriscmu. You get the picture.

How about Execlusive Username with Membership?
If a user wanted GoldFinger as their username then the game would move all other users that have the username of GoldFinger to an alternate username, example GoldFinger2. Now when GoldFinger2 logs in next, he will be prompted to keep his new username or pick a new one for free.

I can see that easily being abused by trolls.

Execlusive Forums for Members only?

Do you men you'd make all the forums exclusive to members or create a new section of the forums exclusively for members? Making all the forums members only would lead to dead forums. But if you mean making a new section of the forums that will be exclusive to members, I don't see why members would post into their exclusive forum when there would be less people to respond to it.

Sure, why not? However, these changes are so minor that it wouldn't make anyone pay.

And here are my ideas:
• Removing the option in the open seats pre-requests that says "prevent WarLight members from joining".
• Give map makers the option to only allow members to make games on their map.
• Being able to write a longer bio on their profile.

Good suggestions so far.

Exclusive usernames are nice because certain usernames are popular and it would be easier for your friends to find exclusive names.

I am curious about this YouTube thing, explain more...

1. Maybe members could have the "history" default to last turn instead of first turn.
2. Allow members to hide all ads, in game and on site, as well as the gambling tables.

Also might want to consider giving free membership to exceptional map makers. They don't get enough support as is.

Members currently can turn off all ads, that is one of the best features.

For history to the end, try the 'end' hotkey.

This may be a far fetched idea, but what if we could bet our coins on other players, have public games scheduled by bigger name players and be able to place bets on who you think will win just an idea I think it would be cool.

First why not coming back to old rules for members only:

- 1 - Giving color priority to the older player, not the level. That would encourage customer loyalty and discourage these lottery games.

- 2 - Being able to change your name when you want and for free. With the current system, it's a nonsense commercially speaking that you "punish" the older players/customers (Ok I'm not credible. lol. you know why I'm asking that if you take a look at my name changes. But I'm very serious though)


Then we need something new:


- 3 - A 3vs3 Europe ladder! (which is my wish number 1 actually)

- 4 - I once played in Black. I even think it was the first 50 player FFA. That was around Christmas if I remember well. So having access to reserve colors is a simple but cool idea as well.


Thx for asking Mercer, you really need to do something about the membership, indeed. I recently offered a membership. While I was happy to do that because it was a promise, I'm seriously wondering if it is still a good present. This is not as appealing than before imho.

I never understand why people need to change name so often, in the other side i agree at all, now is completely impossible change name, 5 level it's more than 1 years of play. Maybe you should be able to change name like X times for years?

I actually think best colour are the reserve colour, like arn forest if i remember right. =)

I really think a membership is a waste now, remember you can level from level 1 to level 52 in 2 days with lottery based on what i read.

Or letting Members play more than 5 games at once on the ladders.

Also would be nice to have automated real time matchmaking.
