Check clan league. Group A and group B are strongest.

Clan League is a bit inaccurate, though, because it's Promotion/Relegation and just had an influx of new clans join in. I'd say that clans like Illuminati, Yin-Yang, etc., are going to be underrated if you go solely off of Clan League.

I agree in principle, but you could argue that it is still fair -- we must prove through continued dominance, that we are worthy of a strong reputation.

Of course. However, there are clans in the bottom group that belong much closer to the top. It's because a promotion/relegation system is a very slow way to sort clans by skill, especially when it grows quickly too.

Yes, the league is somewhat flawed for clans that have not gotten to compete in A yet.

There is also the issue with sometimes life happens. We lost two 3v3 games early because Summer had an emergency and got booted. We also had nich retire half way through. These made it hard to compete for the top spot, even though we are usually right there. WM had retirement issues (Fridge) as well. So, you have to look a bit deeper into the clan league than just current standings.

Another issue is that some have dual memberships (two clans). So who they play for in the league matters.


But, if you look at the clan league, the ladders, and other leagues like the World Series of Warlight, Promotion/Regulation league...you will get a good idea of the top clans.

I might make a write up about the top 25 warlight clans sometime ...

Wow, thats harsh even coming from us.

^ From me*. I wasn't speaking on anyone else's behalf.

It's just that the Falcons lost 34 members (a third of their membership) during this, which is kind of alarming. Seeing this sort of damage is exactly why I'm pushing for a CORP clanwide policy of kicking out spammers/trolls/cheaters/etc. without delay so this sort of fallout isn't something that happens to us.

These "random shits" make up 9/10 folk of the Wolves - and even your best players are good, not great, not fantastic, but good. Furthermore, these "random shits" - it's youre fault that they don't go on the forum or know anythign about the clan.

Idiot Savant previously made a thread asking for feedback on a game he played. Based on his gameplay in that linked game (which he won), forum behavior, and the results of his first two 1v1 games, I'm willing to wager that Idiot Savant is the alt of a player who is at least decent at the game. They might be a tad rude but I believe that they're likely a better player than you or I.

That said, I somewhat agree with Kapy that the Wolves have an "in-group"/"out-group" issue. When I was a member, it seemed like there was a handful of players that were in on all the stuff and the rest of us were just kind of left out and didn't really have much to do within the clan. I don't think it's entirely avoidable when you reach that size (we're having trouble getting people to participate heavily in things like dojos, for example, even though we have a lot of active clan communication channels), but I also think that it's important for everyone in a clan to at least feel like they belong to it in some way and know a good portion (hopefully all) of the other players.

@Kapy:

It's not really their fault. Wolves' recruitment policy is a bit loose. I don't think After_Dark would look much different if they'd recruited as hard as the Wolves.
