Long story short I'm playing Idle on a PC using a Linux Tor browser and am having a few issues.

For some reason I can't click properites to clear them. Properties clear using the Auto-Conquer.

The Draft icon has been visible but I can't click it to harvest the drafts....

And the game may not be saving properly and am signing out/in between sessions. May test later and report back. Note: this is a disposable browser so no cookies/files/caches are saved.

Any clues for the clickings?

Try using Ctrl Alt G to force a sync to happen.

As for the clickings, it almost sounds like it maybe clicks in a different place then you think? (or rather, WZ thinks you click in a different place then you actually are clicking)

Good point but I don't think so. I did click all over the map and the properties weren't cleared. This is a newer map so there are a lot of uncleared properties.

Note: I don't have my MAC masked or anything.

sounds like the same issue as the "Shields Down" issue with Brave. not sure how to solve it on Tor tho

Brave browser glitch where it doesn't recognize territories when hovering over or click them; fix it by bringing "Shields DOWN" for the WZ site by clicking the Shield icon at right of URL bar and changing Shields from UP to DOWN

It seems like you described the issue I'm having. Thanks for the assist. I did switch to the "unsafe browser", no luck.

I may have to buy a replacement computer. :(

I dont think its a hardware issue.

In particular, make sure you have nothing that blocks interactions with a canvas (since its often blocked by privacy-enhancing features since Big Tech uses canvas rendering statistics to track people), since thats what WZ uses to render its territories.

I didn't mean to imply a HW issue.

The HD failed on my Windows PC so I've been booting it using a Tails USB stick and browsing the Web this way. I've disabled NoScript, uBlock and lowered all the safety to no avail for Idle....

So the work around is buying another Windows PC so I can play!!!!

Couldn't figure out the issue so ended up getting a new PC w/Windows 11 Home and am now using FF. All problems vanished.
